The company's vineyards cover approximately 15 hectares spread across several plots in Orašac, Kopljari and Banja. Matijasevic produces high-quality wines based on international grape varieties such as Sauvignon Blanc and Merlot, as well as some indigenous grape varieties. Sedam Hrastova (that translates as Seven Oaks) White is a blend of international grapes Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Blanc, with additions of the indigenous variety Smedervka. The name of the wine and the deer design are a clear reference to the strength of nature and the love that the Matijašević family puts into their work. The 7 oaks are the trees that protect the vineyard, while the deer on the label symbolizes strength and freedom, and refers to the roe deer that are often seen feasting in the vineyards. In the glass, the wine reveals a clear and bright color with golden tones. Its aromatic profile is fresh and intense with citrus, pear and peach notes followed by delicate nuances of vanilla. On the palate it is soft and concentrated, with a lively acidity and a pleasant mineral vein. The finish is long and refreshing and recalls fruity and herbal notes. Try it with seafood, white fish and salads.
