Drink it now or cellar for up to 15 years. No need to decant but best to open it an hour before service. Located in the heart of the Langhe, in Piedmont, the Parusso winery owns approximately 23 hectares of vineyards, distributed among various crus in the Barolo area. The company, founded in the 70s, is today managed by Marco Parusso with his sister Tiziana, who continue the exceptional tradition started by their father Armando. The Nebbiolo grapes are selected and hand-picked from vineyards located in Località Ornati e Mosconi in the municipality of Monforte d’Alba at 350/450 meters above sea level. After a brief maceration in contact with the skins and spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts, the finished wine rests for a few months on its lees and is finally refined in the bottle. El Sartu Langhe Nebbiolo is an elegant red wine with a bright ruby color. On the nose, it reveals an intense and broad aromatic profile with fruity notes of mulberry and berries, hints of rose petals, and sweet spices. On the palate, it is soft and easy to drink. It has a medium body and velvety tannins. The finish is long and slightly spicy. Excellent with roast beef or lamb, with mature cheeses, and tagliatelle with goose ragu.
