Cellar for up to 5 years. Best served at 10-12°C Full deep yellow with tinges of light green creates a fresh summertime invitation in a glass. This white blend has delicate scents of freshly picked apples and ripening apricots, orange blossoms and camomile flowers in harmony with herbaceous sage and vanilla spice for an inviting first sip. On the palate, a continuation of tree fruit flavors of pear and peach, with zesty citrus and tart tropical fruit, full flavors bursting in the mouth, rounded out by a smooth creamed honey finish, balanced with a hint of mineral brightness. Pair with an appetizer course of cured meat and aged cheese, or with delicate fish dishes, and enjoy alongside fresh oysters. Showing versatility, this wine pairs equally well with light meat dishes of poultry and pork. Manincor Estate produces top quality grapes in a natural and sustainable fashion, tracing their winemaking history to 1662. This beautifully feminine wine is a blend of Pinot Blanc (60%), Chardonnay (30%), and Sauvignon Blanc (10%). The fruit ripened on two varied terroirs- the warm west facing slopes of Terlan at 300m, and the cool east facing mountainside of Kaltern at 500m. Differing climate and soil led to the exciting expression of fruit, herb and minerality. The grapes were de-stemmed and left to macerate for 6 hours, followed by oak fermentation with natural yeasts, producing the creamy mouth feel and full mellow finish. Drink now, or cellar for years to come!
