Bio wine Cellar for up to 7 years. Made of 40% Merlot, 35% Lagrein, and 25% Cabernet Sauvignon, the Manincor Reserve Del Conte is a deep ruby color, with aromas of lingonberry and blackberry bramble. This leads to a spice and herb driven palate, rich with flavors of black pepper, olives, and brandied cherries. Medium in body, this beautiful red blend combines the softness of Merlot, the acidity of Lagrein, and the tannin of Cabernet to craft a wine that is almost Burgundian in its silky mouth feel. The Reserve Del Conte would be a perfect match for heavily herbed pork or lamb dishes, or grilled steaks served with a green peppercorn sauce. Weingut Manincor is a certified biodynamic, sustainable winery located in the Northern Italian Alps. The Reserve Del Conte is produced with grapes grown from some of the warmest vineyards in South Tyrol (a cool area), making for red wines that reach optimum ripeness, but still retain the acidity necessary to make a well-balanced wine. Fermented using natural yeasts in a combination of stainless steel, oak, and cement vats, the juice was macerated for ten days to extract flavor, color, and tannin from the grapes, and then aged in oak barrels of varying sizes for 12 months.
