Its vineyards extend over approximately 75 hectares on the Oplenac hill in the Sumadija wine region, where the vines enjoy optimal conditions for producing quality wine. Rodoslov Grand Reserve is an elegant and complex red wine obtained from a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Cabernet Franc. The grapes are selected and harvested manually from the best areas of the estate's vineyards. Vinification and aging take place separately for each variety. Cabernet Sauvignon undergoes a longer maceration and then rests in new French oak barriques, while Merlot and Cabernet Franc, stay in large barrels, before assembly and a further phase of refinement in the bottle. In the glass the wine reveals a deep color with dark red tones, with purple reflections on the rim. Its aromatic profile is broad and intense with fruity notes of cherry, blackberry and plum, spicy and woody hints and some nuances of tobacco leaves. On the palate it is complex and juicy, soft, full and concentrated. It has great balance, good minerality and a pleasant refreshing acidic vein. The tannins are well integrated and the finish is long and pleasantly fruity. Excellent with red wine stews, venison in chocolate sauce, or goat meat.
