Drink it now or cellar for up to 20 years. It is recommended to decant it for half an hour. The Zuccardi winery is a highly prestigious family business, considered one of the most renowned in Argentina and the entire southern hemisphere. The company, founded between the 50s and 60s by Alberto Zuccardi, son of Italian immigrants, is today managed by José Alberto Zuccardi with his son Sebastian. From their200 hectares of vineyards, Familia Zuccardi produces some of the best Malbec in the world, with an approach that is attentive to the territory and sustainability. The Malbec grapes are selected and harvested manually from vineyards located in the Uco Valley, in a wonderful natural landscape at the foot of the Andes mountain range, among verdant valleys intersected by splendid rivers. Here the soils are made up of sandy and silty layers rich in limestone. The fermentation occurs spontaneously with indigenous yeasts in concrete tanks, as does the refinement to guarantee the pure expression of the complexity and richness of this vine. Finca Piedra Infinita Gravascal Malbec is an extraordinary wine, with a dense ruby red color and a broad and complex aromatic profile. The nose reveals notes of violets and cherries, blueberries and dried herbs, olive tapenade, and mineral hints of graphite. On the palate, it is powerful and structured, concentrated and well-balanced. It has velvety tannins and a good acidity. The finish is long and recalls mineral notes. It is a wine to be enjoyed with a rich barbecue.
