Located in the Mantineia wine region, the Tselepos winery produces high quality Greek wines both still and sparkling, both from native grapes, such as Moschofilero and Agiorgitiko, and from international blends. This dry white wine is produced with Moschofilero grapes, a native Greek vine of the Peloponnese from proprietary vineyards and grapes selected in the DOP area. The continental climate and the altitude of the crops (500 - 750 meters) guarantee the gradual ripening of the grapes with the consequent development of the aromatic potential and the natural high acidity of the vine. The white vinification takes place with cryo-maceration for 8 hours and fermentation in steel vats at a controlled temperature. Although wines from Moschofilero grapes are generally considered aromatic wines to be drunk within two years of production, in reality this Mantineia from Tenuta Tselepos is resistant to time and has a very interesting evolution. In fact, over time the saline and mineral components emerge, maintaining the pleasant freshness of youth. Its floral aromas are intense and persistent with a prevalence of rose, lemon and violet. In the mouth it is fresh due to its acidity, with good strength and persistence, and a pleasant aftertaste. It is ideal as an aperitif and goes well with salads, raw fish and shellfish, fish or white meat first courses, light fried fish and vegetables, white cheeses.
