Standing at over five feet high and weighing well over a tone, rhinos are the second largest land mammal after the elephant. Although they are herbivores, rhinos are very intimidating and will charge at almost anything, using their thick, tough skin as armour and their horns as weapons to defend themselves.Rhinos have quite poor eyesight, but sharp, rotating ears to detect the quietest of sounds, along with a very keen sense of smell.
