Located in the village of Bué, Domaine Vincent Pinard is one of the most prestigious wineries in the Sancerre region, in the Loire Valley. The estate which extends over approximately 15 hectares of vineyards is now managed by Florent and Clément Pinard who have been practicing organic viticulture (without certification) with a biodynamic approach since 2018. The estate's range of wines includes single-plot whites and reds of extraordinary quality and longevity. Sancerre Rouge Charlouis is produced with Pinot Noir grapes selected and hand-picked from a vineyard of approximately 1.5 hectares located in Bué. After maceration and fermentation, which takes place with indigenous yeasts, the finished wine rests in barrels (30% of which are new). This splendid Pinot Noir reveals a bright and clear color with ruby ​​tones and an intense and fruity aromatic profile with notes of dark fruits and cherry. On the palate, it is ripe and juicy, elegant and well-balanced. It has fine and velvety tannins and a long and fruity finish. Enjoy it now with sweetbreads, roast chicken or partridge, or leave it in the cellar for a few years.
