Dit is zonder twijfel de favoriete wandeling van Kaapstad en de hele stad komt naar Sea Point om zijn benen te strekken, de zonsondergang te zien, de zeelucht te ruiken en honden uit te laten. De wandeling begint bij het oriëntatie punt bezocht door Charles Darwin in 1836, kronkelt langs zes stranden, een honderd jaar oude zwembad, een flink aantal openbare kunstwerken van verschillende artistieke waarde, een nationaal sleutelpunt en een getijdenpoel met een opmerkelijke reputatie. Als je veel geluk hebt kun je walvissen of dolfijnen zien. Je zult zeker een aantal interessante personages zien.
