Champagne Dom Perignon Rose 2009

Drink it now or cellar for up to 30 years. No need to decant. Dom Pérignon is a legendary label that bears the name of Pierre Pérignon, the French Benedictine monk born in 1638 who according to tradition "invented" Champagne. The company today belongs to the famous brand Moët et Chandon, which in turn is part of Louis Vuitton Moët Hennessy, the largest luxury industrial group in the world. The production includes only vintage Champagnes produced only in exceptional years, with the best grapes selected from Grand Cru vineyards. Champagne Dom Perignon Rosé is a prestigious and refined wine, produced with Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grapes strictly selected from some of the oldest and most precious vineyards in the region. The finished wine rests in the cellar to evolve for almost 12 years. The wine shows a lively and brilliant pink color with coppery hues and a fine and persistent perlage. The nose is fresh and voluptuous with aromas of small red fruits, spicy tones, and dried fruit. On the palate, it is round and intense, yet lean and mineral. It is an extremely elegant wine with a vibrant character and a long lingering finish. It goes well with strong-flavored vegetarian dishes and stuffed guinea fowl.
