At the heart of the Viking Treviso lies an lightweight aluminium frame with a high tensile steel fork. The frame has road racing geometry but this bike comes fitted with a flat bar. It's specially tailored for riders who want the mile crunching ability and speed of a race bike but would also like the comfort and practicality of a hybrid commuter. It features 16 speed Shimano STI push button gear shifters for effortless gear changing and braking, 32 hole aero rims with quick release hubs and Shimano derailleurs. The larger 700c wheels, narrow tyres and higher gearing make it easier to achieve and maintain higher speeds, than a mountain bike or hybrid. The Palermo comes equipped with a 16 speed transmission, comprising of 12-23T 8 speed cassette on the rear and a Shimano alloy 45/52T chainset.
