The Tre-Valli stands mid to high range in the 2013 Viking road selection. It's named after Tre Valli Varesine, a semi classic European bicycle race held in Varese, Italy. It's basically the touring version of the Echelon. It's constructed around Vikings lightweight aluminium relaxed road race geometry frameset. Gear selection is achieved with Shimano STI gear/brake integrated shifters with Shimano front and rear derailleurs. Drive is through an alloy triple road 30/42/52T chainset on a cartridge bottom bracket with a Shimano 8 speed cassette. Powerful alloy dual pivot calliper brakes are fitted to slow the bike in all conditions. An ideal mid level tourer for mid-long distance. The larger 700c wheels, narrow tyres and higher gearing make it easier to achieve and maintain higher speeds, than a mountain bike or hybrid. The smaller chainwheel on the triple chainset provdes easier gear ratios when carrying extra weight. Model Type : Lightweight aluminium gents touring road bike.
