The Derwent is brand new to the Viking tandem range and is built around Vikings first Reynolds 531 lightweight hybrid tandem frame. Fitted with the slightly larger and narrower 700c wheels this bike is perfectly suited to longer distances on tarmac. The Derwent also comes fully equipped with a rear alloy 4 point fixing pannier rack, full chromo-plastic mudguards, Schwalbe Marathon Endurance tyres and Selle Royale Look-In saddles. It's an ideal cycle for couples or friends who prefer to share the experience of a cycle ride. The frame features an eccentric bottom bracket as standard for easy chain tension adjustment. Equipped with 24 speed Shimano indexed gears with push button Shimano shifters for easy gear selection and powerful front and rear V type brakes. A great introduction to tandem riding.
