Wapisa focuses on sustainable practices in both its vineyards and winemaking processes, with a deep respect for the environment which has won them numerous prestigious awards. They produce a diverse range of wines made from international grape varieties like Malbec, Pinot Noir, Sauvignon Blanc, and Chardonnay. This Sauvignon Blanc is made from hand-harvested grapes that are grown in the estate vineyards located in the cool climate region of the Rio Negro Valley. The conditions here help to emphasise the natural beauty of the Sauvignon Blanc, locking in plenty of freshness and aromatics in the finished wine. The wine is fermented in stainless steel tanks, preserving the crisp and bright fruit flavors. On the nose you’ll find aromas of citrus, green apple, and grassy notes, while the first sip reveals a light body and crisp flavors of grapefruit, lime, and a hint of minerality. The finish is clean and refreshing, making it an excellent pairing with seafood, salads, and light pasta dishes.
