The Walker & Simpson 7ft Commodore Slate Bed Pool Table is a top professional quality table, ideal for home use and very popular with social clubs, pubs and small hotels. With smooth lines and classic looks, it has a heavy slate bed covered by a high-quality cloth. The slate bed is a full 2cm thick. The cloth is of 70% wool and 30% nylon giving superb durability and exactly the right pace. The quality of the slate bed and cloth combine to give an extremely consistent playing surface, allowing balls to roll true every time. The automatic ball return keeps the pockets from getting obstructed when full, automatically returning balls to the rack end of the table rather than the player having to frequently empty the pockets. This provides a noticeably more flowing game, and also makes racking up the next one a touch more convenient.
