The vineyards can benefit from a warm Mediterranean climate but with marine influence that limits the maximum temperatures. Soils are of granitic origin, deep, porous, and with good drainage. The wine is aged for 18 months in French oak barrels. Vina Vik A Cabernet Sauvignon has a beautiful ruby red color. The nose shows aromas of red and black fruits, such as raspberries, plums, and blackberries, then notes of fresh spices, along with dried fruit and a slight touch of mocha from the aging in French barrels. It is an elegant wine, with good minerality and a silky sensation on the palate, that's quite unique. It has a strong structure, with soft and tense tannins, along with balanced acidity and an unforgettable long finish. Try it with game casseroles or slow roast lamb.
