A new model for this year, the Viking Apex is built on a super light aluminium folding frame that features a curved maintube with matching seat stays. This geometry helps retain frame stiffness while keeping weight to a minimum. The frame features Viking's safeloc folding system, rear carrier and mudguard bosses and headtube gusseting. Viking have fitted an eight speed Shimano indexed gear system with intuitive push button shifting. This, along with the large 46 tooth chainwheel, offers plenty of gears for short commutes or longer rides. Other features include lightweight alloy double wall rims, alloy folding handlebar stem, folding right-hand pedal and powerful alloy V brakes. Finished in stealthy matt black paint with black components, the Apex looks great. Frame: Lightweight aluminium tubing, 20" wheel folding frame with Viking safeloc folding mechanism. Chainset: Single 46T with clear chainring chainguard. 170mm black alloy cranks. Sealed cartridge bottom bracket. Wheels: Viking 20" 36H alloy double wall rims with Quando small flange hubs. Front quick release, rear solid spindle. Black spokes. Tyres: 20" x 1.25" all black tyres with road tread. Brakeset: Anodised blue alloy V type brakes with alloy brake levers. Levers have reach adjust facility. Handlebar and Stem: Black alloy riser bar with alloy high rise stem with a quick release folding mechanism. Seat and seatpost: DDK Race 3.0 saddle with central groove. chrome seat post. Quick release seat clamp. 500mm alloy seatpost with alloy quick release clamp. Additional: Matching blue trim lock-on grips, alloy kickstand and right hand folding pedal. Colour: Matt black frame and fork. Max seat height (from floor): 91cm. Wheelbase: 103cm. Max handlebar height (from floor): 108cm. Folded dimensions: 85cm x 65cm x 42cm. Weight: 11.7kg. Cycle Condition: Brand new sealed in box. This bike comes 90% built, fitting of pedals, handlebar assembly and seat reqired. Gears and brakes also require some adjustment. Tyres may require inflation prior to riding.
