The trap has one flat side for intuitive placement along the wall where you have seen signs of rodent activity and rodents primarily travel. Once the rodent has been killed, either empty and reset or discard the trap. To reset, place the trap along the wall and press the setting levers down until stationary. This trap is safe to use near water and food as it does not contain any chemical products nor poison. It is also safe to use near children and pets.
