The Tiger 16" Crash Cymbal is crafted from good quality Brass, and like its name sake, produces a loud, sharp, and crisp, bright "crash", used mainly for occasional accents as opposed to rhythmic pattern. Crash cymbals were traditionally placed on the left side of the drum set (for a right-handed drummer), since the normally larger ride cymbal is usually on the right, however some drummers set up their crash on the right. Often a drummer will have multiple crashes, and so may set them up with one or two on each side, or less commonly, with one mounted very closely above another, usually larger crash or ride. This cymbal is a great choice for players with beginner 5-piece kits looking to add to their cymbal set-up and increase their cymbal options during songs.
