Drink it now or cellar for up to 15 years. It is recommended to decant it for an hour. Susana Balbo Signature is the cellar top line of wines and the maximum expression of the winemaker and winery owner, Susana Balbo who blends her knowledge of the terroir with her winemaking talent. At each harvest, she personally chooses each parcel and selects the most complex and aromatic barrels. The resulting wines express exceptional elegance and refinement. The Malbec Signature is produced with Malbec grapes and a small addition of Cabernet Sauvignon sourced from the Finca La Delfina vineyard, in Paraje Altamira, at 1,150 meters above sea level. The addition of Cabernet Sauvignon to the blend adds structure, resulting in a silky and balanced mouthfeel. This round and harmonious wine has an intense violet color. On the nose, it reveals the fruity characteristics typical of Malbec with aromas of blackberry, and black cherry followed by notes of spices and mint. The exceptional aromas come back in the mouth harmoniously combining with ripe plum and subtle notes of vanilla, semi-sweet chocolate, and mint in the finish. It is a full-bodied, velvety wine with a pleasant and persistent finish. Try it with meatloaf, lamb chops or spicy sausages like Chorizo.
