This production holds the Guinness World Record for hosting the most visitors to a musical in a single theatre, with over 19 million people welcomed since 1988. Starlight Express is set to a toe-tapping ‘80s pop-rock soundtrack by Andrew Lloyd Webber, with lyrics by Richard Stilgoe. Luke Sheppard (& Juliet, The Little Big Things) directs, working alongside set designer Tim Hatley, video designer Andrzej Goulding, costume designer Gabriella Slade, lighting designer Howard Hudson, sound designer Gareth Owen, and musical supervisor Matthew Brind to bring this innovative production to life.
