This stainless steel planting spade was designed as an alternative to the existing border and digging spades and has a compact size which is ideal for working in smaller areas. The pointed tip allows for easy penetration into the ground, and the head is etched with depth markings for accurate planting. Roots in the soil can be easily dealt with thanks to a serrated edge which splits open the fibres and enables a clear path to be cut through them.
