This edition features a brand new group of Skylanders, known as Trap Masters. This team leads the charge with their oversized crystal weapons in the fight against the most wanted villains and returning nemesis Kaos. Lob-Star was the head chef of his own five-star restaurant, often cooking for the King Fish himself. He had also been secretly training in a mysterious art of fighting known only to a few crustaceans. This came in handy when a giant Leviathan threaten to swallow up Lob-Star's guests and capture the King Fish himself. Calling on every trick his mysterious training had taught him, Lob-Star defeated the Leviathan and drove it out of Star City. Master Eon had seen that Lob-Star had risked everything, and decided to recruit him to join the Skylanders.
