Bright and colourful, the Blue and Yellow Macaw is regocnisable by its golden yellow underside, bright blue upper side, green forehead and white face. These Macaw parrots can reach up to 86cm long, including their long tail feathers, making them one of the largest of its species. Native to South America, they are common in tropical and subtropical forests, and can be found along riverbanks. Their favourite foods include nuts, fruits and berries.Not suitable for children under 36 months.
