Samyang 24mm T1.5 ED AS IF UMC VDSLR Lens (Nikon F)

Samyang 24mm T1.5 ED AS IF UMC is an extremely bright, prime lens designed to work with digital cameras fitted with full-frame or APS-C sensors. VDSLR Samyang lenses are fitted with racks compatible with the Follow Focus system. This solution allows for effortless and accurate rotation of focus and aperture rings. The aperture ring is rotated smoothly and noiselessly. These modifications allow for extremely comfortable and effective control of focal plane and depth of field during filming.Its optics comprises 13 lens elements in 12 groups. Four lens elements are made of the low dispersion (ED) glass, that minimizes the level of chromatic aberration, there are also two aspherical elements preventing the spherical aberration effect. Just like the other Samyang products, this lens uses multi-layered anti-reflective UMC coatings to ensure good light transmission. Thanks to its sophisticated optical construction, the lens gives an exceptional image quality even with the aperture fully opened. Brightness of the lens corresponds with the T-number of 1.5. To facilitate the reading on the focus and aperture scale, both these indexes are marked in a parallel position to the optical axis of the lens.
