Galaxy Note Edge N915G is a high-end phablet of the iconic Note series from Samsung. Unveiled on September 03 2014 the device boasts a monstrously huge 5.6-inch Super AMOLED touchscreen LCD with a QHD (2560 x 1600p) screen resolution. Supporting multitouch and protected by 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass 3 the screen packs a massive 524 pixels per inch of the screen allowing for stunningly clear visuals. This makes the Note Edge display noticeably crispier than its predecessor model. One side of the phone is noticeable curved allowing for smoother navigation and gestures while its exterior is metallic. This curved area also serves as a secondary mini display for notifications. In terms of internal hardware the Galaxy Note Edge offers a lavish 3GB RAM is part of the architecture and enables extraordinarily fast multitasking and app processing. It comes with the world s first UV sensor that integrates with Samsung s popular S-Health 3.5 app and allows UV readings via the app itself. The app then makes suggestions based on the current UV index level so as to keep you safe from its harmful effects. Software-wise the phone comes with Android OS v4.4 (KitKat) installed on its 32GB internal ROM. The presence of a 16MP rear AF camera with Sony s IMX240 image sensor is another key feature that makes Note Edge a phablet to beat in 2014.
