Low Voltage Differential (LVD) SCSI is an emerging standard. The goal of LVD is to allow higher data rates while combining the benefits of single ended and differential SCSI. LVD devices are defined under the Ultra-2 subset of the SCSI-3 standard the term LVD and Ultra-2 SCSI are used interchangeably.
