This 25 acre farm in Huelva, covered mainly with cork and edible chestnut trees, is undoubtedly a paradise for nature lovers. Posada Finca La Fronda, a small charming hotel in the Natural Park of Sierra de Aracena and Picos de Aroche, is a place where everything is designed to blend perfectly with the environment. In this hotel, built on just one floor to reduce the visual impact, has water supplied from wells on the farm, solar panels to provide hot water and surroundings improved by planting of more than two thousand lavender and rosemary bushes. Charles, Reyes and their son Alec are the people behind this charming seven room hotel. The bedrooms are decorated in warm tones with high quality wooden furniture, large windows and covered terraces surrounding an Andalusian patio planted with orange trees and an ornamental fish pond. All this creates a beautiful, welcoming and contemporary space, while preserving an unmistakable classic and country feel. Respect and care for the environment is also reflected in the cuisine. The bread, honey and jams are made on the farm from totally natural ingredients. The ham and pork served are from Jabugo and the cheeses produced locally in the Sierra de Aracena.
