A thumb operated push-button is used to disengage the Pip-pin mechanism. The axle has a chamfered end, to allow for easy location of the pin.
The RP292 is fitted with a one-way locking wheel, which provides additional friction when lowering, allowing increased control of heavier loads. During lifting, the wheel runs freely.
