The plant-eating Triceratops or ---three-horned face--- is one of the best-known dinosaurs from the Cretaceous period, about 72-65 million years ago. The Triceratops had magnificent horns above its beak and rows as well as a long tail as defence weapons. The Triceratops also had a massive skull with a large brain.
