All of England celebrated the 21st of October, 1805, when the Royal Navy under the command of Admiral Horatio Lord Nelson defeated the Franco-Spanish fleet at Trafalgar. However celebrations were dampened because Admiral Nelson died of his wounds on his flagship, the H.M.S Victory, on the very day of his greatest triumph.Today, H.M.S. Victory lies in dry-dock in Portsmouth in all her splendour. The whole of England was outraged when it was suggested the ship be scrapped following the Napoleonic wars, so she was reprieved and became the stationary flagship of the commander-in-chief.This Revell model kit includes core paints, a thin paintbrush and glue to create the H.M.S Victory model, plus an impressive 42x60cm poster that imitates the great ship.
