The face is white with black roman numerals and elegant ornate black hour and minute hands protected by a glass cover. Underneath the face is a magnetically closed glass door contain the hanging dummy chimes and working pendulum. The clock chimes on the hour. Takes 3 x AA battery for the clock and electronic chimes and 2 x C batteries for the pendulum (not included). Minimal self assembly required.
