This is a beautiful place to stay for a restful stay where some activities and relaxing country walks can be enjoyed. 08/08 mp The 24 rooms have been decorated in different ways and styles but again the elegance and good taste is present in every detail. They are medium in size and also fully equipped with private bathroom. The restaurant serves excellent regional foods such as grilled codfish, kid stew and local egg pudding. This property was built on the ruins of a former convent. Before the monastery this was the site of a hermitage founded in the thirteenth century. This has preserved the monastery heritage intact. The chapel and sacristy have been transformed into lounge and bar. The result is a harmonious blend of historical architecture and modern construction and comfort.
