Opposites

Opposites is the blistering new album that fans of Scottish band Biffy Clyro have been waiting for. Originally planned as 2 separate albums, this has been released as a 20-track double disc extravaganza. It---s their sixth album and follows up the hugely successful Only Revolutions that was nominated for the Mercury Music Prize in 2009. Best known for their 2010 top 10 single Many of Horror, which was covered by X Factor winner Matt Cardle, this new album has a great mix of darker, heavier material and other tracks with a lighter, more pop-like feel. The band released the terrific single Stingin--- Belle last year as a taster and the rest of the 19 tracks on this album, now available from Tesco, certainly don---t disappoint.
