You can combine your hauck gate with a total of 2 extensions - one per side. An extension of 1 x 21 cm is too short but 2 x 21 cm is to long ? Then simply combine the 9 cm extension with a 21 cm extension. With the separately available hauck Y-spindles, you can also install the extension together with the safety gate to stairs with round or oval rails easily without drilling.. To begin, connect the extension to the safety gate with the help of the two included connecting elements. Then put the gate's adjusting screws on the outer sides of the extension. Lastly, clamp the gate together with the extension into the door frame or the staircase by turning around the adjusting screws until the gate is safely installed.
