The New Nissin Di 600 offers wireless TTL remote capabilities together with plenty of power. There is sufficient power for fill in flash for shadows even in bright weather. The Di 600 has received high awards in Issue 37 of the Advanced Photograper magazine The Nissin Di 600 has an output of GN44 at 105mm. The zoom range auto system adjusts from 24 -105mm. The Di 600 is supplied with a built in diffusor panel for coverage down to 16mm lens coverage. The flash head tilts up 90 degrees and rotates horizontally 90 degrees left and 180 degrees right making bounce flash use more versatile by using more angles. In addition the flash can be more easily used in slave mode. The light output is adjustable down to 1/32nd in manual and slave modes. In TTL mode the flash output is controlled by the camera. Flash compensation can be controlled on the back of the flash in ½ EV increments. The Di 600 recycles in approximately 5 seconds when using full power. Wireless Remote Flash Creative lighting is easy with the ability to use multiple flash. The Di 600 has a self contained wireless remote flash system that permits it to be used as a slave unit. The 3 slave modes are as follows: Digital Slave (SD) : The Di600 synchronises to the pre-flash system. The master flash is set at TTL (E-TTL 11/ E-TTL) mode.Slave Film (SF): The Di600 synchronises to the traditional single flash system. The master flash is set at manual mode. Studio lighting systems can be synchronised to this mode.Wireless TTL : The Di600 synchronises to the wireless remote flash system with the use of a master controller. In this case the adjustments are made to the Di600 by way of the Channel 1 group A on the master controller. Nissin Original âMy TTL Settingâ The TTL power level is pre-set for exposure at the Nissin factory. The power however can be re-set by the user to the desired exposure level by +/- 0.75 EV in 0.25 increments. This pre âsetting is memorised as your own personal standard after switching off. The normal TTL calculations are there onwards based on this customised setting. External Synchronised Contacts The Di600 can be used off camera using the Synch contact. There is also a 3.5mm standard PC synch terminal so that the flash can be hard wired to the camera.
