Nikon Communication Unit UT-1

The Nikon UT-1 is a universal-type communication unit compatible with D800E, D4, D7000, D800, D7100, D750 & D810 Nikon D-SLR models. It incorporates wired LAN function only, but can be upgraded to wireless LAN functionality by combining it with the WT-5 Wireless Transmitter.Designed to enable communication between the camera and a network it supports IEEE 802.3u (100 base-TX)/IEEE 802.3 (10 base-T) as a standalone unit, and IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n in combination with WT-5 wireless transmitter.The transmitter attaches to the camera’s accessory shoe (hot-shoe), or alternatively to the optional SK-7 bracket and is powered by EN-EL15 battery. UT-1 enables the creation of camera networks with remote image browsing and download capability. Remote control of the camera settings and LiveView output is possible with a computer on which Nikon Camera Control Pro 2 software is installed.
