Following this street you reach he Plaza de la Catedral, a Gothic church built in the XIV century, in whose square can be found the Tourist Information Office. Leaving the Cathedral behind, we arrive at the Plaza Es Born, surrounded by the most emblematic stately homes of Ciutadella, next to the Town Hall, the theatre and the post office building. From the Plaza Es Born, which the pedestrian can clearly identify by the statue in the centre erected in memory of the disaster that occurred during the Turkish invasion in 1558, you can follow the path by the Plaza des Pins, the lungs of the city, and go around the old quarters following the avenues that form the ''''Sa Contramurada''''. This is situated where, in former times, the city walls were located which surrounded the old city, and which today have become a major commercial and financial area of the city.
