Masala Zone Soho has been widely praised from when it first opened in 2001 and forms part of the unique collection of stylish award-winning Masala Zone restaurants, serving a panorama of proper Indian food combined with striking design. Menus unusually combine an unparalleled range of proper Indian food - pioneering street food, thalis (the balanced family platters), daily changing freshly made vegetables, flavourful grills, regional curries, biryanis. The carefully orchestrated furniture and sophisticated lighting highlight the verve with which traditional food is dressed for a contemporary audience. Walls featuring Warli art has been painted by forest tribal artists from West India. The Bangle Bar, with its front crafted out of broken glass bangles, features vibrant red stools, Jaisalmer stone tables and handmade wooden Udaipur chairs. The cocktail list offers both traditional options alongside an intriguing selection of cocktails that incorporates spices and infusions with enhanced heat and flavour. The wine list features grape varieties selected for their affinity with spice.
