The Makita UR3501 is a corded electric line trimmer which was developed as a cost effective and lighter weight successor to the UM3830 series of grass trimmers. Powered by a 1000 watt motor with a soft start, it has a 350mm cutting diameter and features a twin line grass trimming head with a bump feed mechanism. The machine has a robust but lightweight curved aluminium shaft and an ergonomic loop handle. It can also be fitted with a shoulder strap to reduce operator fatigue during extended periods of use.
