The Makita UR008G is a Cordless Brushless Linetrimmer powered by a 40v Max XGT Li-ion battery. Features a soft start for smooth start-ups, with variable speed control to allow the operator to match the speed to the application and constant speed control to automatically apply additional power to the motor to maintain constant speed under load. It is equipped with a rear end mounted motor for enhanced tool balance and reverse switch for easy removal of tangled weeds and grass cuttings. Additionally, it has a narrow protector designed exclusively for use with nylon cutting head and plastic blade. An electronic current limiter is used for overload protection and electric brake for increased operator safety.
