The MR003G is a job site radio that is able to receive Digital Audio Broadcasting signals (DAB/ DAB+). It has an AC input for powering it from the mains, and can also be run off any of Makita's XGT, LXT or CXT power tool batteries for cordless operation. One fully charged 4.0ah XGT battery will power it for up to 34 hours. The MR003 has a micro USB port for software updates and an input jack for connecting external audio devices like phones, tablets and MP3 players. Designed for jobsite environments, it has a rugged exterior housing with elastomer bumpers, and is IP65 rated to protect it from dust and liquid splashes.
