XGT batteries are encased in heavy duty housings with impact absorbing padding, and can be fully recharged in rapid time (as little as 28 minutes). Two way digital communication between tool and battery ensures optimum performance and reliability at all times, while allowing for future updates to be implemented into the range if necessary. The JR001G is a powerful cordless reciprocating saw which can be powered by any Makita 40v XGT battery. Capable of extremely fast and efficient cuts through wood, metal, plastic and many other construction materials, it has an energy efficient brushless motor, rapid electric brake, 2 speed settings and a variable speed trigger. A constant speed control circuit ensures consistent performance and helps to prevent the saw getting bogged down in tough materials.
