Makita's DTW180 is a 3/8" square drive impact wrench which is powered by lithium ion power tool batteries from the 18v LXT cordless platform. One of its distinguishing features is a reverse rotation auto stop mode. This mode works only when pulling the trigger fully in counter-clockwise rotation. When the bolt/nut gets loosened enough, the tool stops the impact and rotation in 0.2 seconds.
