The DTR180ZK enables fast and efficient application of rebar tie wire, reducing the need for GC07 Hot-work permits and reliance on manual labour. The DTR180ZK delivers double loop ties at the press of a button and is ideal for time consuming construction tasks like laying concrete foundations over a wide area. It can be used one handed in either single or continuous mode, leaving the other hand free to adjust the position of the rebar. The tool is suitable for use with D10, D13 and D16 rebar in varying combinations of 2, 3 and 4 pieces. In continuous mode the operator can make multiple ties simply by pushing the contact arm against the workpieces while holding the trigger down. According to the condition of the tying material, the tying strength can be adjusted in six stages. Using a 5.0ah 18v battery, up to 120 ties of 0.8mm diameter annealed wire can be accomplished. The DTR180ZK does not produce heat or sparks, therefore operators do not need a GC07 permit to use it.
