The DLS211ZU is a powerful 36v cordless mitre saw, but it runs on two standard 18v LXT batteries simultaneously so it shares battery compatibility with a wide range of smaller 18v tools in the LXT range such as cordless drills, circular saws and angle grinders. It uses a 305mm blade and the powerful 36v motor delivers performance which is comparable to corded mitre saws; however battery power means you can use the saw just about anywhere, without having to pack a generator or run an extension lead out to the work area. The DLS211ZU has a soft start brushless motor and an electric brake for power, precision and maximum runtimes. The compact, rail forward design means it can be set up in tighter spaces, without having to allow for clearance at the rear of the machine, and the settings can be adjusted quickly and locked securely for reliable, accurate cuts. A laser guide shows the cut line for instant alignment, and the Automatic Torque Drive system helps to ensure consistent cutting speed even when working with tougher materials like hard woods. The DLS211ZU also has an integrated AWS Auto-Start Wireless system for syncing it up with compatible Bluetooth dust extractors, after which it can trigger the dust extractor like a corded tool plugged into a power take off socket.
