Compatible with accessories such as hedge trimmer, line trimmer, brush cutter and pole saw attachments, the DUX18 has a soft start brushless motor, electric brake, variable speed control, AFT technology and Constant Speed control to ensure consistent performance under load. Accessories can be attached and removed without need for additional tools. The EM404MP Makita brush cutter attachment for the DUX60 split shaft multi tool are easily fitted with a tool-less slide joint coupling with a simple clip-lock fixing the attachment securely in place. The brush cutter attachment features a steel drive shaft for less vibration and a longer life and a bump and feed trimmer head for efficient grass cutting. Can be used with the 198383-1 plastic blade set (not included).
