MHL 2.0 to HDMI Adapter with RCP

The MHL (Mobile High-Definition Link) Adapter supports video resolution up to 1080p and 7.1-channel digital multi-channel audio. It is designed to connect your MHL Host (Phone or Tablet) to your HDTV VIA HDMI for viewing content on a larger screen. This state-of-the-art technology connects your MHL Host to your monitor or TV from the 11 pin Micro USB port to the HDMI port. The 11 pin Micro USB connection is found on most Samsung devices starting from the Galaxy S3, although the S3 is an MHL v1.0 device it does need the MHL v2.0 adapter because it uses the new proprietary 11 pin Micro USB socket. Devices enabled with MHL 2.0 can use the Remote Control Protocol (RCP) function for controlling audio and video with the HDTV remote and charges your device during playback.
