Mōglea is a design studio based in Iowa, USA that focuses on the craft of artful stationery and paper goods. Production processes are done by hand and make each piece feel one-of-a-kind Chad and Meg Gleason launched Mōglea in May, 2012 after moving to Chad's family farm in Audubon, Iowa, where they bought a century-old letterpress and started creating their line. They sought to bring unexpected processes like dip dye and hand painting to the fine stationery market. In fall 2018, the business moved to Des Moines, Iowa where they continue to manufacture their hand painted paper goods within the burgeoning creative workforce community Each card is hand painted on large pieces of card stock before foil stamping on one of the brand's antique foil presses. The result is a stunning one-of-a-kind card, which features the brand's swirl painted process Hand painted card with foil.
